New Project: Motto shiritai otoko no ko hoken taiiku

Aight. Not that anybody really cares but we’re back. This group started when me and a friend were in high school and thought we understood more Japanese than we actually did. Now, three years later, I actually know Japanese, rather than just the basics. So pretty much ignore the other posts. The other guy might get around to translating Shugo Tokumaru. And don’t even want to talk about Shouwa Monogatari >_> Not that project matters anymore. So this is how the translation will go.
The reason I’ve decided to take on this project is because right now I’m not really doing any Japanese classes. But I still really want to keep improving my Japanese. This translation is primarily for me to improve my reading/translation skills. So don’t expect a speedy translation. I need to learn while doing this and that will always take precedence. It’s probably going to take a while, srsly.
Saying that, I will try to translate at a reasonable pace. But given that I’m a uni student and I’m not getting paid for this (though I might set up a donations thing if anyone wants to help me out), I won’t always have the drive to translation. So yeah. I’m actually pretty excited to do this. Even if somebody does do a translation before me, I’ll still probably see this one through.
Also, if anybody knows any good tools for translation put them in the comments. Pretty much right now I’m just using traydict and notepad++. I might need a editor/QC person in the future if I feel like I can’t do it. I think I’ve already got a guy to replace the writing (whatever that’s called), but I’m not sure how that’ll work for the walls of text (oh well, we’ll see).

Shugo Tokumaru – Linne to be subbed

I enjoy music so I sub Japanese music :S…

Anyway this is in the process of being translated and will be released with two itterations of the song.

Firstly is the Black IS Live Sound which was my first exposure to the song so that will be higher priority.

Secondly will be the Actual song itself.

Kaela Kimura – Ring a Ding Dong

Kaela Kimura was/is apparantly a popular singer in Japan, I don’t really know her… However her song Ring a Ding Dong was featured as a track on those fun Taiko drum games and I found it really catchy. Anyway this post is just to provide proof that we can do something >_>… Since our Website-Monkey is away I can’t embedd videos from Metacafe into my posts so you’ll have to go to this link. I would’ve upload to YouTube but eh. When I tried that it was blocked instantly, I’m actually really impressed :S

SCS kinda confirmed to pick up Shouwa Monogatari!

Since we’ve noticed nobody else is picking it up I think we should attempt it. Currently 2 episodes behind already! Don’t expect us to actually release it though :(

After watching the RAWs I was able to comprehend some of it… But with the other 2 translators on board (we’re all just beginners >_>…) Should be good :S!
